    MBoSC Group Ride
    10:00 am - 1:00 pm

NOTE: Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz County is currently looking for ride leaders for their Saturday rides. Please contact info@mbosc.org if you are interested in becoming a ride leader!

Intermediate Wilder Group Ride: Every 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Saturday of the Month at Wilder Ranch

Riders with some off-road handling skills and moderately good fitness are welcome on this intermediate level ride. (Our monthly “Slow(er) Ride” is better suited for beginners.) The pace is determined by the riding level of those who show up. Most of the regulars are intermediate and very social. If the group is large, we may split into a fast and slow group. The route and total distance vary, but we typically do about 12 miles and around 1300 feet of climbing.

Meet at 10 am at the park sign just north of the tunnel under Highway 1. The best way to get to the meeting spot is to park in the Wilder Ranch parking lot, walk your bike through the Ranch area, past the barn, chickens and garden, ride under the highway using the tunnel and you should see the park sign by the cattle gate.Helmets and a ready-to-ride mountain bike are required for all MBoSC rides. You don’t have to be a member to ride. This is a great opportunity to meet local riders and enjoy the abundance of trails in our corner of the world.

Check their website here within 48 hours of each ride to ensure ride is still on!

Emma McCrary “Slow(er) Ride”: Every 4th Saturday of the Month at River Street & Golf Club Drive

Beginner or slower mountain bikers are welcome on our monthly “Slow(er) Ride” every fourth Saturday of each month. This more leisurely paced ride does require fitness and controlled off-road bike handling skills. There is usually an intermediate/advanced group for the regulars and other faster, more experienced riders as well.

Meet at 10am at the parking lot at the corner of River Street and Golf Club Drive. More details here
