SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL

The Safe Routes to School National Partnership wants to empower you with relevant resources so you can succeed in your Safe Routes to School efforts – whether that is through implementing a program, letting your voice be heard as an advocate or pushing for policy change. BIKE & PEDESTRIAN HAZARD REPORT 

Notify the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission of obstacles or hazards that may inhibit bike or pedestrian travel by using their online Hazard Report. These reports are forwarded to the appropriate local jurisdiction for action.

HOW TO LOCK YOUR BIKE 

Bike theft is a huge issue for Santa Cruz County as elsewhere. Proper locking is the first defense against bike theft. The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition has great information on recommended ways to lock your bike.
